Here at WSA we've given out many awards to sites that put content first. The tasteful site for Norwegian illustrator Berit Sømme is no exception. By focusing on Berit's excellent illustrations, husband Petter has developed a site that feels very sophisticated and stylish despite actually being very simple.
Unfortunately, I noticed some problems with *jumping* content in Firefox (.. or, lo and behold, could there be a rendering bug in my beloved Firefox!). A quick spell check might be a good idea as well.

Man, those illustrations are off the hook! I found myself clicking each one, which is a rarity for me (I usually selectively click and even then its only a few items usually) but your, I clicked every one of them... Nice!

I did not see any major errors or glitches in my visit, but I did notice one small annoying behavior: clicking the thumbnails never had a defined method, sometimes it would open a thumbnail, other time it would load into the header of the page. This was odd.

But like I said earlier, maybe that's the reason I ended up clicking on everything?

Anyways... very nice work.

Yeah, I noticed the popup-thing to... Seems like the vector illustrations shows up in the flash window on the page. Bitmaps opened in a pop window.

Should be easy to incorporate the bitmap illustrations into the flash file, or is there some other problem?

Good work though, and yes, incredible illustrations!

Oh, yes love this one. Saw it on CSS Vault ;). Man, so groovy. But, I have a few gripes:

When importing a CSS stylesheet, don't use '@import url(css/global.css) screen;'. (Don't use media-specific rules. Just use this: '@import url(css/global.css);' and keep define the media attribute within the style tag.) The cross-browser compatability for this is so poor.

There's no need to import the same stylesheet twice; just choose one method.

Don't use the 'bgcolor' body tag attribute. This is a big no. Just set 'background-color: #f7f7f7;' within the stylesheet.

But, all-in-all, nice work. Very impressive illustrations, may I add.

I have no gripes about this one at all, maybe am not the most sophisticated web developer to pass judgment, but this site is IT for me.
