It's good to see Web Standards penetrating areas that haven't normally been associated with web development. In this case, Evgeni Dinev's personal site is a glimpse at the Bulgarian version of CSS, and it's looking good.
Although he uses some popular design effects, the site brings them together well to create its own identity. The homepage illustration in particular is a striking contrast to the flowing lines of the interface, but the palette reinforces the imagery with a well worked fool's motley.

The site doesn't work in Opera 7.6.

As far as I know the latest Opera version is 7.54. So It's seem a bit funny conclusion when the site works properly in the latest Opera.

This is a beautiful site. One criticism - the pink writing on the blue background on the rhs (portfolio page) is extremely difficult to read and is a known colour blind combination. Your initial page uses blue text and works much better.

charset=windows-1251 ?
And what about those non-windows users? Why don`t they use utf-8 for charset encoding? Isn`t this a prob for MAC or Linux ?

Fortunately the browsers' support of windows-1251-encoded texts does not depend on the operating system. Therefore - there is no problem for Mac and/or Linux users.
