Ahhhh ... with Dider Hilhorst, how can you go wrong?
His personal site brings us more of the style that we've become familiar with through Sinelogic and Superfluous Banter -- that smooth pixelism that's so easy on the eye.
Although limited in scope, this site gives you enough of an experience to acquaint you with Didier's style, should you be otherwise unaware of it; all, of course, in clean, Standards-compliant markup.
The only thing I'm not sure about is the omni-present Flash header, a curious addition which, due to its dominating presence, makes you feel like you haven't gone anywhere when you click to another section.

First of all thanks for this award. Wicked. This website was set up with a specific intention: that of showcasing my abilities, experience (both academic and professional) and to share more information about who I am and what I do. It was part of a portfolio that I needed to submit to an application board that would review my work. More information coming later.
As some of you may know I never set up a personal site and suddendly it was clear I needed one. So, why the Flash? The answer really is to showcase my knowledge of said software. It has no purpose but that of being fun and add to the overall style.
This should not be viewed as my personal site as such. It will not be updated in the future — unfortunately. However, keep an eye out. My new blog will launch soon.

The flash header seems a little out of place, but the rest of the site looks great.
Nice work Didier, another great pick Cam.

The site is brilliant! Very very well-designed and well-layed out.
Didier, I do not think you should have to provide an explanation for the usage of Flash in your design. It has it's place, it looks good. I am personally sick and tired of peope downgrading a design simply because it uses Flash in some way, shape or form. Flash exists and will always be used.
Sorry for the rant, much congrats.

Didier: your site, like your work, is elequent, to the point and enjoyable. I appreciate your perspective, an insight to your work it's presentation. This site is indicative of the quality and creativity that you deliver.
Cheers,
Jeremy

My apologies for the spelling for "eloquent" in the previous post; ironic isn't it. Your work is of course eloquent, not "elequent"...so much for posting at 2:29am after a gathering.
Cheers
