It's big, it's yellow and it's the personal website of Firewheel Design founder, Josh Williams. While most CSS sites go for muted colour pallets, this site is a veritable colour riot. So settle down, put on your shades and check out this excellent personal site.

First off, I love this site's graphical identity. As does Andrei of 'Design by Fire.' In his latest post, he awards Josh Williams (Yellowlane) with the 'Best Signpost Dingbat' (http://www.designbyfire.com/000093.html).
I really like what Josh has done with the site, but, frankly, I feel the navigation clashes... Maybe not the navigation buttons themself, but the font used for them.
Been a big fan of his icon collections, though. Great stuff. I'd highly recommend his design studio, http://www.firewheeldesign.com/
Congrats. Well done.

Golly, thanks guys... Honestly, I'm a little surprised! Yellowlane is still very much a work in progress, and will probably be refined (but not re-designed) quite a bit (hopefully over the summer), but this is a real treat. Thanks fellas!

I admire anyone who is brave enough to use yellow in a design. I think this strikes just the right balance. Also, Josh should get an award for painting his house like a pack of m&m's!

He he, Jim... my wife likened it unto a bag of Skittles. It seems we're pretty close in our interpretation. We love it.

While I'm not a fan of yellow (why is it even an *option* for Hummers?), I love this design. To use such bold colors and to pull it off takes real skill. Be sure not to miss the amazing OS X icon sets.
